Alexander Huggins, DC, is a skilled Chiropractor at Medicus Spine & Joint. Patients can choose the nearest office from the five offices in Brunswick, Georgia; Mt. Pleasant and Bluffton, South Carolina; and Gainesville and Jacksonville, Florida.
In 2008 he received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida (UF) in Gainesville, Florida. In 2012 he obtained his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida Campus in Port Orange, Florida.
In addition to his work at Medicus Spine & Joint, Dr. Huggins has served as Chiropractic Physician and Owner at Access Chiropractic from 2015 to the present.
Dr. Huggins diagnoses neuromusculoskeletal conditions, performs corrective adjustments, performs patient history reviews, performs physical, neurological, and orthopedic examinations, and orders diagnostic images to determine health problems.
He assesses conditions and disorders such as musculoskeletal and spine disorders and develops therapeutic treatment plans to correct abnormalities. He also educates both patients and caregivers on diagnoses and self-treatment options.
Dr. Huggins is driven and dedicated to helping patients reach their full potential through knowledgeable and proactive chiropractic support. He is proficient in all areas of the body’s neuromusculoskeletal system and methods for improving range of motion and reducing pain.
Dr. Huggins was born and raised in Gainesville. He has been married for over 11 years to Jacqueline Huggins, and they have four children. As a family, they enjoy spending as much time as they can outside doing things like attending gator sporting events, golfing, and exploring trails. They are also members of the Trinity United Methodist Church.
